Leah
was rescued about a week after what we believe was a car accident. She
was not in any life-threatning danger but I know it was painful for
her. She has since healed up well with only some furless spots as
reminders and a little hitch in her back leg.
With
big beautiful begging eyes and a constant wagging pug-curl tail, Leah
is sweet and charming. She loves to walk on her back legs, twirling
around, for a bit of whatever you are having. She loves to sit in your
lap and sleep on a pillow next to you.
She
enjoys toys off all kind, chews and eats like a big dog, and needs to
have company as much as possible. She gets along well with other dogs
but is a little wary of new people until she feels safe.
Once
her heartworm is treated I know Leah will love to go for walks and
adventures. She is happy to go wherever her family is and would love
to have another dog for company if she has to stay home.
I
can't describe the energy and spirit of this adorable girl. Her
favorite food is ice cream. She can eat a bone as fast as her 50 pound
siblings. She is brave beyond her fears and endured the pain of her
accident with such a will to live and be happy. Dogs can get
depressed, but not little Leah. She is full of sunshine and brightens
my days with her wiggling tail and plenty of kisses.
Leah's adoption fee is $125. This includes a collar, leash,
microchip, spay/ neuter, all paperwork and 1 free local vet visit (within 2 weeks of
adoption)
